Unlike the previous regime, the government made efforts to take governance to the people, by hearing their preferences and requests. A One year programme is chalked out after hearing to the various sections of people, and carefully evaluating the suggestions made out. It provided an impetus to the Government machinery to focus on the projects to be completed within an year
