A CM’s shame

Achutanandan has revealed his true colours now. Till now he was creating hype that the government would provide rice for Rs.2. Now, his folly has been revealed. The government did not even allocate funds for providing rice. Despite this, we were all shown a staged drama and proclamations were made in order to woo the voters.
First of all, it was not at all specified in the order issued on 25th February 2011 about the amount of rice that will be distributed. The Chief Minister proclaims that those under APL will be given 12 kg rice and BPL will be given 24 kg. Without even allocating the money for this, the government is asking wholesale ration dealers to spend money from their hands and buy rice to hand it over to shops. The wholesale dealers are not ready to do that. From this, it is very evident that the LDF has only one aim, which is to woo the voters.
